Angie Ah Kun

Angie is a member of the technical staff at the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), which she joined in 2018. She currently leads the IASB's project on Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity, which aims to address IAS 32 classification issues and improve presentation and disclosure of issued financial instruments. Prior to joining the IASB, she was a senior manager in the Financial Instruments team at KPMG International in London for 4 years. Angie also has previous experience in auditing, transaction services, technical accounting and advisory in KPMG South Africa, predominantly in the banking and financial services industry, and has presented IFRS courses to KPMG staff across South Africa and Africa. She is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
