Blaise is a corporate reporting specialist and advisor on the application of IFRS Accounting and Sustainability Standards, the IFRS for SMEs Accounting Standard and IPSAS. He is a former board member of the South African Accounting Standards Board, and currently serves on the Financial Reporting Standards Council, as well the IFRS Foundation's SME Implementation Group. He is the Deputy Chair of the Accounting Practices Committee of SAICA.
