Fredré Ferreira is an IASB Technical Fellow on secondment from EFRAG, working on risk mitigation accounting and the hedge accounting PIR projects. At EFRAG, after the endorsement advice of IFRS 17, she worked on the development of ESRS focussing on governance in ESRS 2 and ESRS G1 Business conduct as well as the value chain implementation guidance. Other projects included Goodwill and impairment, and the FICE DP.

Previously in London she specialised in financial instruments and banking at PwC, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Chartered as well as the Bank of England. In South Africa, she provided technical advice as well as technical training to staff and clients.
