Profile
Isabelle Grauer-Gaynor heads the Corporate Finance and Reporting Unit at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). She brings extensive experience in financial reporting, standard-setting, and audit oversight at both European and international levels.
Isabelle served for six years as a member of the IFRS Foundation’s Advisory Council and currently sits on the Stakeholder Advisory Council to the International Foundation for Ethics and Audit (IESBA) the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB).
Prior to joining ESMA, she was a Partner in Mazars’ Financial Reporting Technical Services Department and served as IFRS Technical Director at the French accounting standard-setter (Autorité des Normes Comptables – ANC). Earlier in her career, she held a variety of roles across different countries and technical areas at PwC.
Isabelle is a French Chartered Accountant and a graduate of ESCP Business School (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris).
