Jennifer Hughes writes for the Lex column, based in London, commenting on companies and the trends and developments that affect them.
Her previous roles with the FT have included, most recently, a stint as US markets editor based in New York. Before that, she has variously reported and commented on capital markets, deals, banks, finance, accounting and regulation from Hong Kong as well as New York and London. Jennifer rejoined the FT in 2022, after five years with Reuters and its commentary arm, Breakingviews, in Hong Kong.
