Juliane‑Rebecca Upmeier is a member of the IASB Technical Staff at the IFRS Foundation. She has worked on the Primary Financial Statements project, supported the implementation of IFRS 18 in the IFRS Accounting Taxonomy and contributed to the Statement of Cash Flows and Related Matters project. She is now leading the post‑implementation review of the hedge accounting requirements in IFRS 9.

Before joining the IFRS Foundation, Ms Upmeier gained experience in the accounting policies departments of two German listed companies. She holds a degree in Economics.
