Laura Girella is Technical Specialist - Integrated Reporting at the IFRS Foundation, where she oversees the maintenance and development of the technical resources on Integrated Reporting.

Before joining the IFRS Foundation, she has been staff member at the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and the Value Reporting Foundation (VRF) working in the respective technical teams and as Region Lead for Italy. In addition to this, over the years, she has been collaborating with various regional and international jurisdictions such as EFRAG and the World Intangible Capital Initiative.

She holds a PhD in Business Economics at the University of Ferrara (Italy), and she is Associate Professor in Business Economics and Corporate Reporting at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy)
