Profile
| Lira is an IFRS specialist focusing on developing accounting requirements for financial instruments. She currently leads the IASB's project aimed at improving the amortised cost measurement requirements of IFRS 9. Previously, she led the project reviewing the implementation of the expected credit loss model in IFRS 9 and the projects on Interest Rate Benchmark Reform. Lira also worked on the Dynamic Risk Management project, which aims to develop an accounting model that better reflects entities' interest rate risk management, and the Financial Instruments with Characteristics of Equity project, which aims to improve IAS 32. Before joining the IASB's technical staff, she worked with KPMG in Kosovo, New Zealand, and London, UK, providing audit and accounting advisory services to financial institutions. |
