Sam Prestidge is the ISSB Technical Director and is with the IFRS Foundation for more than ten years. Sam oversees the ISSB’s technical engagement with jurisdictions on interoperability, including with the European Union.

Previously Sam supported the work of the IFRS Foundation Trustees in their project on sustainability-related reporting in establishing the International Sustainability Standards Board.

Prior to the IFRS Foundation, Sam worked in the secretariat of the European Parliament on the impact assessment of market and environmental policy.
He holds a Master’s Degree in International Social Policy (MA) from the University of Nottingham and an Undergraduate Degree in Law (LLB Hons) from the University of Northumbria.
