A personal word of welcome

The IFRS Foundation Conference in London on 29–30 June 2026 promises to be an informative and stimulating event, offering overviews of and deep-dives into the latest developments in standards for reporting to capital markets globally.

Better information leads to better decisions—investors need reliable, transparent and globally comparable information about companies to make better investment decisions. The IFRS Foundation’s mission is to develop IFRS Standards that bring transparency, accountability and efficiency to capital markets around the world.

The conference will give you the latest information about key developments in standard-setting for accounting and sustainability disclosures from the leadership of the Foundation’s two standard-setting boards, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

Along with technical staff and external guest speakers, board members offer insights into the latest research projects, standard-setting projects, maintenance projects, application questions and agenda decisions. You will have opportunities to engage and exchange ideas with technical staff and board members to deepen their understandings.
