Kerrin Black is a Managing Director at Santander and serves as Head of North American Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage and Debt Capital Markets. She joined Santander in 2018 to establish and grow the U.S. Financial Institutions Debt Capital Markets franchise.

In April 2024, Kerrin was appointed Head of U.S. and Canadian Financial Institutions Banking, where she oversees relationship management and corporate banking activities for Santander's Bank, Insurance, Specialty Finance, Asset Management, Payments and FinTech clients. Under her leadership, the platform has expanded significantly, broadening both Santander's client portfolio and the range of products and services delivered to financial institutions across North America. She works closely with partners throughout Santander's global network to deepen client relationships, enhance cross-border collaboration, and deliver the full capabilities of the Santander franchise.

Kerrin also continues to lead the FIG Debt Capital Markets business, managing a team focused on advising, structuring, and executing debt financings across the capital structure in the USD, EUR, and GBP markets. Her team partners with clients on a broad range of strategic financing solutions, supporting funding, capital, and balance sheet objectives.

Prior to joining Santander, Kerrin spent 14 years at BNP Paribas, where she played a key role in the growth and development of the firm's U.S. Debt Capital Markets platform.

Kerrin holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University.
