Zara Kwan is a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Capital Markets & Financing group at Bank of America. She leads the origination, structuring and execution of financing solutions for businesses in the asset management, private capital, specialty finance, auto & captive finance, broker-dealers, and financial technology & market infrastructure sectors.

Zara has over 14 years of capital markets experience at Bank of America. Her expertise spans the capital structure including senior unsecured, subordinated debt, preferred stock, contingent liquidity and sustainability financings.

She has advised on over $150bn of capital raised in the global markets and has extensive experience in establishing inaugural credits, capital and liquidity raises, multi-currency executions and strategic financings.

Zara has served in a variety of roles in Bank of America's Women's Leadership Council including most recently chairing the Business Development Committee.

Zara earned her MBA at Columbia Business School and is a CFA charterholder. She also has a master’s degree in finance and bachelor’s degree in commerce with First Class Honors from Queen's University, Canada.
