Jason Binford is a director in the Austin, Texas office of Kane, Russell, Coleman Logan PC where he represents debtors, creditors, and every other type of stakeholder in large to mid-sized Chapter 11 cases. From 2020 to 2022, he served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Bankruptcy & Collections Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas in Austin. At the Attorney General’s Office, he was the manager of the Bankruptcy Regulatory Team, representing Texas state agencies, and the people of Texas, in bankruptcy cases across the country. Prior to serving as an Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Binford was a partner at a large multi-national law firm in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Binford is board certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by both the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the American Board of Certification and is a frequent author and speaker on a wide-range of bankruptcy, litigation, and related issues.
