Joe Arie has over 45 years of experience in SBA & Commercial lending, and in that time, he’s successfully setup and managed several SBA divisions for community banks. In 2020, Joe joined the Bank of Edison management team as President of the SBA & Commercial Lending Division, which has a strong focus on SBA 7(a) loans, SBA 504 loans and USDA Loans. Joe frequently speaks on the subject of small business lending at national banking conferences, and in 1994, he was the recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Financial Advocate of the Year Award from the SBA. In 1995, he was appointed as a Presidential delegate to the White House conference on small business. From 1996 to 2004, he served on the board of National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL). He is a graduate of Parkland Community College and Eastern Illinois University, where he earned a bachelor’s in business administration.
