Mr. Cooper developed Arixa’s internal fund control and construction underwriting programs and oversees a team of draw specialists and construction underwriters. He also led the creation of a scalable, digital draw management platform and budgeting system to enable deeper data-driven reviews of loans and draws as Arixa grows its construction lending platform safely.

Prior to joining Arixa, Mr. Cooper served as Vice President of Construction Operations at Genesis Capital, where he built a nationwide residential construction underwriting program and managed the in-house funds control team. Previously, Mr. Cooper was an onsite project manager for luxury single family developments for over 10 years, equipping him with a unique perspective on construction processes, costs, and risks. He has leveraged this background to build a best-in-class construction risk management program at Arixa.

Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge.
