Liya Mo founded Momenta Real Estate in 2025 to bridge Wall Street and Main Street in the residential real estate market.

She is a real estate executive with more than a decade of experience across acquisitions, homebuilding, and consulting. Prior to starting Momenta, she was Principal of Acquisitions at Lafayette Real Estate LLC. She has a proven track record of sourcing and executing 30+ deals, driving $600M+ in transactions, building institutional partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams. She has deep expertise in single-family rental (SFR) / build-to-rent (BTR), deal execution, capital raising, and platform scaling. She is a recognized industry thought leader and award recipient.

Before specializing in residential real estate, Ms. Mo advised Fortune 500 clients at Deloitte Consulting in Real Estate & Location Strategy. She graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis and holds an MBA/MA from the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
