Daniel LinManaging Principal at Chatham Capital InvestorsSpeaker
Profile
Dan works with real estate owners and operators to get deals financed, strengthen lender and investor confidence, and put the right financial systems in place to grow. As a fractional CFO, he works side-by-side with leadership as their right-hand strategist —building models and forecasts that show how a project will perform, telling the right story with the numbers, and structuring financing that supports both the deal and long-term growth.
He also builds the solid financial foundation needed to scale—strengthening cash flow management, upgrading reporting systems, and ensuring the business has the tools and credibility to attract capital. His work includes funding acquisitions and development projects, refinancing loans, managing lender and investor relationships, and helping leadership adapt to shifting market conditions.
Previously, Dan was CFO of XFD Real Estate Partners, a private equity-backed owner and operator of multifamily and student housing, and held senior positions at Capital One, Royal Bank of Canada, JPMorgan, and Credit Suisse. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business.
