Qi Zhang is currently the Managing Director of Portfolio Management at Mission Servicing Residential. Qi has 14 years of experience in quantitative modeling and fixed-income portfolio management. Prior to his current role, Qi held a Director, Business Analytics position at the Capital Markets department of Ocwen Financial Corporation, where he built an advanced GNMA early buy-out model, loan modification pipeline hedging and contributed to several key strategic MSR transactions. Prior to his tenor at Ocwen, Qi led the Interest Rate Risk Analytics team at the Corporate Treasury department of BNY Mellon, where he managed a group of 5 quantitative analysts for monthly IRRBB analysis and balance-sheet strategy development. He also played key roles in building analytical tools for hedging and performance attribution for BNY Mellon’s $150Bn fixed income securities portfolio. Qi’s career also includes a role as a Lead Quantitative Modeler at Everbank, where he worked on prepayment modeling, MSR valuation, MBS/whole loan acquisitions. Qi holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and is a CFA and FRM.
