John Citrigno is Managing Partner of Cirius Green Development, a San Diego-based firm focused on high-density, urban infill multifamily midrise projects integrating sustainable design, long-term operating efficiency, and disciplined development economics.
John's experience includes over 25 years in investment real estate brokerage, including senior positions with Marcus & Millichap and Grubb & Ellis, where he served as Northwest Regional Director of the firm's National Apartment Council. Over his brokerage career, he completed hundreds of transactions—equivalent to well over $1 billion at current values—and represented institutional clients including Goldman Sachs, Equity Residential, Lincoln Property Company, and AvalonBay.
His experience spans multifamily brokerage, property management, private lending, investment and development. John led Cirius Capital, where he underwrote and funded more than 300 private-money loans for residential and multifamily acquisition, renovation and construction projects. As Manager of Cirius Pacific Fund, he was responsible for investment selection and underwriting, capital management, and investor relations.
Today, through Cirius Green Development, John focuses on urban-core multifamily midrise projects, with particular emphasis on underwriting and capital structure, entitlement and design, construction-cost efficiency, and high-performance building systems.
