Josef Bittman is the Managing Director of Capital Markets at Ark Homes for Rent, where he leads the firm’s debt capital markets activities. He brings over 25 years of experience in capital markets and structured finance, having held key roles in the residential mortgage-backed securities groups at Moody’s Investors Service, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley.

Most recently, Josef spent 13 years at Starwood Property Trust, where he worked in the capital markets group supporting the firm's commercial conduit origination business, and at LNR Partners—Starwood’s special servicer—where he actively managed a portfolio of performing and non-performing loans secured by commercial properties across the United States.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Rochester.
