Nick Jerkovich joined FirstKey Homes in January 2018, serving in several roles before his current tenure as SVP, Investments, where he is responsible for all investment execution activity: acquisitions, dispositions, build-to-rent, and portfolio management. Nick has grown the company’s portfolio from 7,000 to over 50,000 homes through the formation and execution of effective portfolio management strategies, the design and implementation of significant technology enhancements, and by building high-performing teams with an emphasis on responsible empowerment and best-in-class culture.

Nick has worked on high-value real estate transactions for over 15 years in various capacities, including valuation and feasibility analysis with Novogradac & Company, the nation's leading audit, tax, and consulting firm for affordable housing, as well as the development, acquisition, and disposition of build- to-rent subdivisions, single-family residential rental homes, and multifamily housing for a regional Midwestern development and construction company. He graduated from the University of Kansas and is a Managing Broker, State Certified General Appraiser, and CCIM designee.
