Amparo Sampedro is Head of Fund Selection Platform at Generali Asset Management since January 2024. The Structure encompass the Funds of Funds Portfolio Management Teams that counts 6 portfolio managers and oversees € 12bn in assets under management and the Fund Selection Team that provides support on fund selection to internal counterparts and advisory to external entities. Prior she was Responsible of the Funds of Funds team in Generali Investment Partners. She joined Generali in 1999 as Risk Manager, and moved on to the Funds of Funds team in 2001. Before Generali, she worked at Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaires and Credit Agricole Indosuez.

Amparo holds a postgraduate certificate in Finance and a master’s degree in Economics from Nanterre Paris X University.
