Amparo Sampedro is Head of the Fund Selection Platform at Generali Asset Management, where she leads a team responsible for fund selection across active and passive strategies, including liquid alternatives and hedge funds. Based in Paris, she oversees both funds of funds and bespoke mandates, as well as advisory services for insurance companies and pension funds.
Amparo has over two decades of experience in asset management. She previously headed Funds of Funds at Generali Investments Partners and held roles in external asset manager selection, risk management, and treasury.
She began her career at Crédit Agricole Indosuez and Caisse Centrale des Banques Populaires. Amparo holds advanced degrees in Finance and Economics from Université Paris X Nanterre and completed the Global Leadership program at IMD Business School.
