Dr. Anja Hochberg is the Chief Investment Officer of Zürcher Kantonalbank, the second biggest universal bank in Switzerland. Prior to taking over this role in January 2026, she successfully led the Multi Asset Solutions division (mixed fund solutions and multi-asset institutional asset management solutions) within ZKB's Asset Management. Before joining Zürcher Kantonalbank, Anja held various senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse, including Head of Global Economics and Chief Investment Officer (Europe, including Switzerland).

Dr. Anja Hochberg earned her doctorate at the University of Wales, where she also worked as a lecturer in economics with a focus on international financial markets. She studied economic history and economics in Berlin, completed a postgraduate program at the College of Europe in Bruges, and received her PhD in "Economics and Management Science" from the University of Wales.

Dr. Anja Hochberg is married, the mother of a 20-year-old daughter, and a founding advisory board member of "Fondsfrauen," the largest German-speaking network for women in asset management and wealth management. Additionally, Dr. Anja Hochberg teaches at the University of Zurich and is actively involved as a foundation board member.
