Ann Prendergast

Ann Prendergast is Head of EMEA for State Street Investment Management and a member of State Street IM’s Operating Group.
In her role, Ann is responsible for spearheading the firm’s growth aspirations in EMEA and providing oversight of broader activities across the region. She brings deep knowledge and understanding of the business to the role, having spent more than two decades with the firm.
Previously, Ann was CEO of State Street Global Advisors Europe Ltd. Earlier in her career, she led the sales and marketing team for the Irish market.
Prior to joining State Street, Ann worked at Bank of Ireland Group in both its fund administration and private banking divisions.
Ann holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a Certified Investment Fund Director (CIFD), and Chair of the Investment Association’s Board of Directors.
