Profile

Carola Schroeder has been a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Union Investment Management GmbH since February 2024. Since August 2025 she is member of the supervisory board of ottonova.

Prior to that, Carola was a member of the Management Board of Barmenia Versicherungen in Wuppertal since 2018, where her responsibilities included investments, health benefits, claims and human resources. Between 2006 and 2018, she held several senior positions at VPV Lebensversicherungs-AG in Stuttgart, KPMG and Gothaer Asset Management AG in Cologne.

Carola studied mathematics and insurance economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
