Christophe Girondel holds a Master in Finance and Business Economics from Sciences Po Paris and studied business economics in Germany at the University of Mannheim. He started his career with Crédit Lyonnais in Copenhagen in 1996. Two years later, he joined the Investment Management Advisory team at Deloitte. In 2003, Girondel joined Nordea Asset Management and has held various positions at the firm. He is today Global Head of Distribution and a member of the six-man Executive Committee of Nordea Asset Management since 2011. Nordea Asset Management employs 650 persons in 18 locations and manages more than EUR 217bn for institutional, wholesale and retail clients across Europe and beyond. It has been consistently ranked in the top ten European for its European distribution activities over the last 5 years. Christophe is fluent in four languages.
