Edward is Rathbone Investment Management’s co-chief investment officer. He has joint responsibility for Rathbones’ research department and the evolution and performance of its investment process. Day-to-day, he focuses on asset allocation and economics, risk analytics and portfolio construction, and fixed income and currency. He is the Chair of the Asset Allocation Committee. A regular guest on CNBC and other channels, Edward presents frequently to clients and the media.

He joined Rathbones from Canaccord, where he was global strategist and co-lead manager of their Risk Enhanced Multi-Asset Portfolio service. He began his career at Blackrock. Edward is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has worked with CFA UK in numerous capacities. He is a published expert on risk management for high-net-worth individuals and is a member of the Society of Professional Economists. He has an MA from the University of Oxford and an MSc with distinction in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
