Erik Fransson has an extensive background in the financial markets with a focus on investment funds and manager selection. He spent 13 years at SEB, where he served as Global Head of Alternative Products, Global Head of Product Strategy and Global Head of Distribution Strategy. In 2018, he was appointed Special Counsel to the government inquiry on a procured premium pension fund platform. Since 2018, Erik has been working on the reform of the Swedish premium pension system – first as Head of the Funds Department at the Swedish Pensions Agency, and since 2022 as Executive Director of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency.
