Gaetan Aversano is Deputy Head of Private Markets at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP), responsible for the sourcing, due diligence, structuring, distribution and monitoring of investment opportunities (funds and direct deals) across all private markets asset classes (private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure). In addition, Gaetan oversees and coordinates all bespoke private markets mandates, and serves as a voting member on various investment committees.

Prior to joining UBP, Gaetan worked in the investment team of a healthcare private debt firm. Gaetan began his professional career in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, taking responsibility for cross-border sell-side and buy-side M&A and IPO in the Swiss and Benelux markets.

Gaetan earned a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, a master’s degree in Management from HEC Paris, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
