Dr Gilles Criton is Head of Quantitative Portfolio Innovation at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management. He has over 20 years of experience across finance and commodities, with expertise spanning fund selection, fund-of-funds portfolio construction, quantitative research, data analytics and investment technology.
He holds a PhD in Statistics and Econometrics and is both CAIA and FRM certified. His work focuses on developing scalable analytical frameworks, automation tools and AI-assisted investment workflows to support more robust, consistent and actionable investment decision-making.
Gilles is particularly interested in how artificial intelligence can transform fund analysis, portfolio monitoring and investment due diligence for wealth managers, allocators and fund selectors, while preserving transparency, governance and human investment judgement.
