Gillian has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and is Commercial Director at Benchmark having moved within the Schroders Group from Head of UK Intermediary Solutions. She is also a Non-Executive Director on the board of Kore Labs and a member of the advisory board for Women in Asset Servicing and was named as ‘Woman of the Year – Investment’ at the Professional Adviser Women in Finance awards in 2023. Gillian also sits on the Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs, one of the key initiatives of the Rose Review aiming to unlock £250bn of value into the UK Economy.

Prior to joining Schroders, Gillian had an extensive career at Standard Life followed by consultancy positions with a range of platform providers, asset managers and financial advisers.

At Benchmark, Gillian is responsible for business development, partnership management, marketing and proposition to attract new firms to the services available and focus on supporting the existing 180+ firms to realise their business, growth and succession plans.

Gillian has an MA in English Literature and an MBA from the Open University.
