Giovanni D’Alesio is an Investment Director and Head of Research for Alternative Investment Solutions at GAM Investments in London. He is responsible for leading GAM’s external fund manager research team and managing portfolios across liquid and illiquid investments. Prior to joining GAM, Giovanni spent eight years at Capital Generation Partners, a private investment office where he was a Partner and Head of Investment Origination. Before this, Giovanni spent eight years at Unifortune Asset Management, a fund of hedge funds, most recently as Head of Research. Giovanni serves as an External Board Advisor to Truffle Invest, a start-up fintech platform providing innovative solutions to access private capital investing. Giovanni holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and an MSc in Economics from Università Bocconi.
