Honor Solomon is a Senior Vice President and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, responsible for AB’s Retail and Institutional Sales teams for EMEA. Prior to joining AB in 2022, she was at Legal & General Investment Management as the head of retail and CEO of its unit trust business for six years. Before that, Solomon was a managing director at BlackRock (and its predecessor company, Merrill Lynch), where she worked for nearly 15 years in London, Paris and New York. Solomon’s roles included equity sales and trading, relationship management within global markets and investment banking, institutional sales to local authority and corporate pension funds, as well as leading the team responsible for BlackRock’s relationships with private banks, stockbrokers and fund of funds. She holds a BSc in business administration and French from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, respectively. Location: London
