Mr Jaime Martínez

Jaime Martínez has been Global Head of Asset Allocation at BBVA Asset Management since September 2015, and he is responsible for the Institutional Asset Allocation Team, the Balanced Funds, the Multi-asset Allocation and Life-Cycle products and the Private Banking Solutions. Prior to this he was Chief Investment Officer at Fonditel from May 2009 – June 2015, being responsible for the management of Telefonica's and other Spain-based companies corporate pension scheme portfolios'. From November 2004 – May 2009 he was Head of Asset Allocation Department at Santander Asset Management, having started his stage in Santander Group in 2000 as a Portfolio Manager for HNWI. Prior to this, Jaime developed his career in the asset management industry in other companies like Invercaixa or Merrill Lynch. He holds a degree as Licenciado in Business and Economics from ICADE University in Madrid and is a CFA Institute Charterholder since 2001.
