As Head Sub-Advisory, Julien is responsible for managing and growing BNPP AM’s sub-advisory business. Julien leads a team of investment professionals dedicated to growing BNPP AM’s dedicated sub-advisory platform, AMSelect, and to performing account management for all 3rd party investment managers that are contracted by BNPP AM. Julien joined BNPP AM as Head of Sub-Advisory in September 2021.

Julien brings 27 years’ of investment experience, largely dedicated to open architecture solutions and manager selection. In 1998 Julien co-founded ABN AMRO’s ‘Asset Allocation Advisors’ (AAA) and has been instrumental in growing AAA into one of Europe’s largest and widely known open architecture platforms. For 20 years Julien was Chief Investment Officer, responsible for all manager selection and product development of the platform. Most recently Julien was a strategic investment consultant with Indefi. He was advisor to BNPP AM for the design and launch of the AMSelect platform, which was successfully completed in June 2021. Julien started his career in 1994 as an investment advisor at Societe Generale Asset Management.

Julien is a graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure (Paris) and of ENSAE. Julien also holds a master’s degree in Mathematics.
