Lázaro de Lázaro is the Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Santander Asset Management, previously he was the head of European Business since 2019.
He joined SAM in 2012 as CEO of SAM Spain. He was head of FIG Iberia at RBS for 1 year and before that he spent 21 years at Bankinter as head of Capital Markets, Asset Management and Products and also as a member of the Executive Committee.
Lázaro holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI-ICADE, and in Law from UNED, and completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
