EMEA Head of Sales, Securities Services at Citi

Maria joined Citi in February 2021 and is the EMEA as head of Sales. Prior to joining Citi, Maria was an Executive Vice President and the Sector Solutions Head for alternatives globally, with responsibility for all sales activities within the alternative asset manager sector across State Street Global Exchange, State Street Global Markets and State Street Global Services.

In addition, Maria was formerly Head of Alternative Investment Managers and a member of the Executive Committee at BNP Paribas Securities Services in London.

Maria has also held similar sales and relationship management roles with HSBC and J.P. Morgan in Singapore and London. Maria’s experience in the funds industry spans more than 15 years in the following locations: London, Dublin, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong and New York.
