With nearly 30 years’ experience of private markets investing, Mark is currently Managing Partner at Stellex Capital, a mid-market private equity firm operating in North America and Europe ($3bn AUM). Prior to that, Mark was Global Head of Private Markets (£60bn AUM) at ex-FTSE-100 abrdn. Previously, Mark spent 11 years at Canadian pension plan OMERS, where he started-up the European PE business out of London, and then as Global Head of Private Equity based in Toronto subsequently developed the PE business globally as well as Growth Equity and Venture ($12bn AUM). Before that Mark spent 13 years with FTSE-100 3i, gaining extensive experience at Partner level across Europe, the Americas and Asia and helping start up 3i’s operations in Amsterdam and Istanbul. Mark is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) having qualified with Grant Thornton in London. Mark holds an MA in Modern History from Oxford University, is a member of the Investment Committee of St Anne's College and until recently a non-executive board member of Saudi family office SEDCO. Mr. Redman is a Trustee of the City of London Sinfonia and previous Chairman of the London Chamber Orchestra.
