Michael Pedroni is a global policy strategist and founder of Highland Global Advisors, where he advises financial institutions and investors on geopolitical risk, regulatory change, and cross-border market dynamics.

He brings 30 years of experience in financial policymaking and economic leadership, including service under four U.S. Treasury Secretaries across multiple administrations. At the U.S. Treasury, he established and led the Markets Room during the global financial crisis, serving as a key liaison to financial markets and briefing senior policymakers. He later served as Treasury’s most senior representative in Europe, as Financial Attaché to the European Union in Brussels, focused on U.S.–EU economic and financial policy, and subsequently led White House interagency coordination on economic and financial policy.
