Ning is the Founding Partner of Lumen Partners, a fund of funds investing in venture capital firms across technology and life sciences. With nearly two decades of experience in London and Luxembourg’s financial sector, she combines institutional expertise with a strong commitment to fostering innovation and inclusive growth.

Before founding Lumen Partners, she spent over a decade at the European Investment Fund (EIF), where her work spanned the full investment cycle — from producing market intelligence reports on the Benelux venture landscape to managing portfolio and risks across European venture funds. Her cross-functional expertise gave her a holistic view of how capital, strategy, and risk intersect to shape a thriving innovation ecosystem. In parallel, she has been an active angel investor for over six years and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Business Angel Network, contributing to the development of the early-stage investment community across Europe.

Throughout her career, Ning has championed diversity in venture capital and entrepreneurship, mentoring female founders and investors and advocating for a more inclusive innovation economy.

She holds a double Executive MBA from INSEAD and Tsinghua University, and is an alumna of Stanford’s VC Unlocked program.
