Oliver Scharping is Adjunct Professor in Finance at IUM Monaco and Senior Portfolio Manager at Berenberg, where he builds institutional‑grade alternative strategies for UHNW clients, family offices, and institutional allocators. He architects and oversees liquid alternative portfolios at Europe’s oldest private bank, translating complexity into investable solutions through integrated portfolio and risk design. Previously, as CIO Committee member and divisional head within a Swiss €25 billion platform, he scaled event‑driven and equity strategies to nine‑figure AUM, raised capital across Monaco, France, Germany, and Switzerland, and forged enduring allocator relationships. He is trilingual and a trained investment banker with direct private and public markets experience.
