Graduated in Financial and Actuarial Science from the Valladolid University. Postgraduate in Financial and Actuarial Science from the Financial School of BBVA. He also holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) from 2004 and the CESGA (Certified ESG analyst) from 2021. He joined BBVA in 2001, working in the Corporate Pension Funds Sales team up to 2005 and in the Global Markets Sales team distributing OTC derivatives to institutions and midsize corporates from 2005 to 2008, and heading the equity distribution team for the BBVA network from 2008 to 2010. He started as head of sales in BBVA Quality Funds in 2010, and was heading the Fund Solutions team within Quality Funds from 2012, in which he led the relationship with the different asset managers for the BBVA Group. Managing the distribution agreements, the relationship with the different units of BBVA, the UCIs Data hub and operations in third party funds for Spain. He currently is the Head of Quality Funds, the BBVA Platform specialized in International Investment Funds.
