Petter is the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of ICP Asset Management, a specialist investment manager focused on the energy and industrial transition. Prior to joining ICP, Petter held the position of Chief Investment Officer, Equity Strategies where he was responsible for all active equity and credit investment strategies and teams with an AUM of USD 200bn. During his 20-year tenure with NBIM, Petter also served as Head of NBIM’s London office, Global Head of Sector Strategies, and portfolio manager. Petter was Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch in London. Previously, he worked as a research analyst at Morgan Stanley in London. Petter holds a master’s degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and is a CFA Charterholder.
