Rebecca Lim is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance and cutting-edge AI. As the CEO and founder of AutoML Capital, a leading WealthTech company, She has been at the forefront of utilising proprietary machine learning algorithms for Asset Management and Investment Services. Her leadership has earned AutoML Capital prestigious accolades, including the Hong Kong FinTech Impetus Awards and the IFTA Gold Award for WealthTech in 2022 and Certificate of Merit of the ICT Award in 2022.
Rebecca did the undergraduate and master's degrees in Physics in the University of Oxford, with a specialization in Atmospheric Physics and Particle Physics. Leveraging her quantitative expertise, she spent 12 years in Sales & Trading and Private Banking across Hong Kong and London, with a focus on market risks, derivative pricing, and portfolio management.
In 2017, Rebecca co-founded Automated Machine Learning and played a pivotal role in developing the patented self-learning AI Engine, "ML Brain," empowering AutoML Capital's innovative solutions. Her profound understanding of AI and coding has led to frequent invitations as a speaker and lecturer for seminars and courses. Moreover, she actively contributes to nurturing the next generation of tech talents through AI and coding courses in Hong Kong.’
She was honoured with the Hong Kong Professional Elite Ladies Selection award 2022, celebrating her exemplary professionalism, ethics, and impact in her field. She also received the Young Women Engineer of the Year award, solidifying her position as a trailblazer in the industry.
