Åsa Norrie is the Former CEO & Head of Distribution Principal Asset Management. She is a seasoned, successful and dynamic Executive Leader whose career spans over three decades within the fund management industry. During this time she has held multiple Executive Leadership roles, including European CEO. Åsa's expertise lies primarily in investment, distribution, and strategy across institutional, wholesale and retail asset management, covering all private market asset classes and liquid strategies. She has a proven track record of leading profitable business units and managing multicultural teams across Europe for established brands, including Standard Life, Aberdeen, and most recently, Principal Asset Management. Her board experience spans the asset management sectors in Switzerland and the UK, as well as a UK charity, a FTSE 100 pension scheme, a corporate trusteeship, and the education sector.
