Salvatore Buono is Deputy Head of the Global International Partner Network team and Co-Head of the Italian International Partner Network team in Investments within the Solutions division at Amundi. In his role he has shared oversight of the portfolio management activities for the Fund of Funds, Unit Linked and DPM managed in Italy with day to day functional responsibilities mainly for Spain.

Within the Multi-Asset Fund Solution team Salvatore was previously holding similar responsibilities across different locations as Co-Head of Multi-Asset DPM & Fund Solutions and Head of Fund of Funds and Unit Linked Solutions. Before, he was heading the Multi-Asset Solutions team in Dublin managing a large range of products and targets; after being accountable in the same team for portfolio positioning, liquidity & risk assessments for all the proposed investment strategies and in charge of the investment process and portfolio management of the Structured Products with capital protection as Head of Strategy Alignment & Structured Products.

Salvatore joined Amundi Asset Management (previously Pioneer Investments) from Capitalia Asset Management in 2008 where he was Head of Wrap Funds and Investment Solutions and working there for five years. He has been in the investment industry since 2000 and began his career with Commerzbank SGR as an Asset Allocation and Fund Selection Officer.

Salvatore holds a summa cum laude degree in Economics from University of Naples (1998) and a Masters in Quantitative Finance from Consortium for Research and Continuing Education in Economics in Turin (2000).
