Sérène El Masri was appointed CEO of Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) Monaco in 2019. Since then, UBP Monaco has become a leader in the Principality, recognized as Best Private Bank by prestigious industry publications, Wealth Briefing and The Banker. Sérène El Masri is also a member of Monaco’s financial sector association: Association Monégasque des Activités Financières.
Before joining UBP, Sérène El Masri held a number of positions in the financial sector in both Switzerland and the Gulf countries. In particular, she was Head of the Middle East and Africa Market for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, as well as Head of Deutsche Bank Switzerland in Geneva. From 1999 to 2011, she also headed the Middle East and Ultra-High Net Worth Individual markets for BNP Paribas Wealth Management.
