Tarek Chouman, Managing Director, is the Global Head of Aladdin Client Business. The Aladdin Client Business offers the firm's risk and investment management platform to external clients. In his role, Mr. Chouman is responsible for the commercial strategy and execution including business development, client relationship management, and delivery of the firm's technology to clients globally. Mr. Chouman is a member of BlackRock's Global Operating Committee, the Aladdin Executive Committee and the EMEA Executive Steering Committee.

Previously, Mr. Chouman was the Global Head of Business Development for the Aladdin Business. As Global Head of Business Development, Mr. Chouman was responsible for all sales and marketing related activities for the institutional Aladdin and eFront products and solutions.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Chouman was CEO of eFront, leading the firm through its acquisition by and integration with BlackRock. Mr. Chouman spent 18 years with eFront, having joined the firm from its early inception. He served in a variety of sales, operational and regional leadership roles across Europe, North America, the Middle East and APAC.

Mr. Chouman holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Management from Polytech Montpellier.
