Zhong Li is leading the global expansion of Fofund 基煜基金, China’s leading institutional fund distribution platform. Zhong started his career on Wall Street with Deutsche Bank’s CDO structuring and FIG investment banking groups. He later joined China Securities Regulatory Commission to help develop and regulate China’s mutual fund, private fund and fund distribution sectors as a member of the Fund Supervision Department. He was seconded by CSRC to IOSCO as a senior policy advisor, where he worked on global regulatory standard setting, market development policy and regulatory collaborations with global securities regulators, FSB, BCBS and G20. He then co-founded and led Totodi, a pioneering SaaS private fund admin platform in China. He also held senior roles at China’s leading PWM platform Noah Group and was a Managing Director at BlackRock’s China team. Zhong holds a BSc from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
